As of the 1st November 2023:

Due to the Medicare bulk-billing incentive increase by the Department of Health & Ageing, this practice will bulk-bill most consultations for the following patient’s weekdays only (excluding Dr Teh’s patients).

ALL PATIENTS MUST PRESENT A VALID CONCESSION CARD TO EACH APPOINTMENT FOR BULKBILING:

• Gold DVA Cardholders
• Pension/Concession Cardholders
• Children up to the age of 16 years

Some consults may incur a gap fee and will be at the general practitioner’s discretion.

All PATIENTS WITH NO CONCESSION will incur a gap fee of $30.00 for general face to face consultations & telephone/video consultations (excluding Dr Teh’s patients).

Please be advised ALL PATIENTS are charged a private fee on Saturdays for face to face and telehealth consultations.  All face to face & telephone/video consultation will incur a fee from $71.40 with a Medicare rebate of $41.40 ($30.00 out of pocket expense).

It is practice policy that all accounts are settled in full on the day of consultation, NO ACCOUNTS WILL BE ISSUED.

Billing changes affecting ALL private and bulk-billed patients from 1st August 2022.

Due to the ongoing discrepancy between operating a general practice clinic and low increase to Medicare rebates offered by the Federal Government our billing policy is changing. 

From 1st August 2022, management will be introducing a gap fee for ALL private and bulk-billed patients. This has been a difficult decision for us, and we understand it is also difficult for our patients.

Management will introduce a discounted gap fee of $10.00 for all patients currently on a Healthcare Card, Pension Card and children aged up to 16 years for ALL general face to face and telephone consultations Monday – Friday (excluding Dr Teh). Patients without a concession card will be charged a $30.00 gap fee for ALL general face to face consultations and a $20.00 gap fee for all telephone consultations.

A $30.00 gap fee will be charged to ALL patients on a Saturday for general face to face consultations and a $20.00 gap fee for general telephone consultations.  

DVA patients will not be affected by these changes.

Doctors’ discretion will always be used and patients, who are experiencing financial difficulty, can discuss this with their doctor.

Bulk-billing may also be offered outside of these guidelines on an individual basis.

Patients without a registered Medicare card will incur a $45.00 gap fee.

Pre-Employment Medicals, Commercial Drivers License Renewals and other procedures/services are not covered under Medicare and will incur a private practice fee.

Appointments are available 6 days a week, from 8.00am – 5.30pm on weekdays & from 8.30am – 1.00pm on Saturdays.
