An appointment is required for non-urgent problems and every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred time.
Emergencies will always be given priority. If you are experiencing chest pain, difficulty breathing or you think you are having a stroke, Please call 000 for an ambulance or present directly to a hospital emergency department.
Standard consultations are between 10 and 15 minutes depending on the general practitioner. Long consultations are recommended for complex problems or more than 1 issue to discuss, please advise the receptionist when making your appointment. Unfortunately, there can sometimes be delays due to emergencies. For patients coming in without an appointment you will be offered the next available appropriate appointment. We endeavor to provide your appointment with your preferred GP. Please ensure you present for your appointment on time.
Telehealth Appointments
Medicare Rebatable telehealth appointments are available with your regular GP if you have had a face-to-face consultation in our practice within the last 12 months. Please note that there may be circumstances when your doctor will need to arrange a face-to-face consultation after your telehealth consultation to complete their assessment and examination.
Interpreter Service
TIS (translating and Interpreting Service) are available through our clinic. If necessary, an on-site or telephone interpreter can be arranged, however at least 24 hours’ notice is required prior to your appointment time.
Cancellations
A minimum of two hours notice is required when cancelling or changing appointments. Failure to advise this practice will result in a $50.00 non-attendance fee.
All patients are required to read and sign our cancellation fee policy to ensure understanding of practice policy and procedure.
